As part of their shop rejuvenation, Infinity Surfboards in Dana Point, CA chose Calfin to make their new surfboard display racks. Here's a picture of the new racks finished at our shop. (There was a total of 7 racks made)
We left the bare look of the metal by clear coating acrylic over the uncoated steel. The owners of the shop felt this matched the 'industrial' look of the shop the best. Then foam and plastic caps were added to protect the surfboards, as well as adjustable rubber feet to help meet the contours of the floor.
The picture below is what the wood racks that were in the shop before looked like.
